Our little Beans first birthday party is this Sunday. It went by so fast. It's only Thursday and I've already started decorating for it (only a little bit). We have 60 people coming, all family and close friends (12 are kids 1yr-13 yrs). We just moved into our new home and we haven't really ever entertained much before. Certainly not for 60 people! Here is our menu ideas. Please let me know if this sounds like enough, too much, too little.

Meatballs

dinner rolls

mac n cheese

chicken tenders

marinated veggies

pasta salad

potato salad

fruit salad

chips/dip

veggies/dip

my gram is making some kind of baked good and my husbands aunt is making the cupcakes (no sheet cake)

For drinks: iced teas, sodas, water

that's enough right?

I don't see juice boxes or some punch for the kids.  We usually buy Capri Sun and Capri Sun Cooling water (or whatever they call their flavored water).

Food looks good. At what time is the party? Depending on the time of day you may need more of each.

Honestly, that menu sounds like a TON of work!!! Are you fixing it all? Can you just BBQ and have burgers, hotdogs, etc.? Then you could have side salads and chips/dips. That sounds WAY easier to me!!!

I'll be getting juice boxes for the kids. Beer and wine are always in stock at this house. We stocked up on beer yesterday as a matter of fact. And the menu is no hassle at all. Family is helping make things and we're making some ourselves. Oh! I forgot to add pizza to that list. We are going to order a bunch of pizza too!
