Do muffins freeze well?

I'm jonesing for blueberry muffins after a recipe I saw on joyofbaking.com, but DH and I are going out of town tomorrow afternoon.  If I make them, can I freeze them to enjoy later, or will they be funky?

They'll be fine- wrap each one individually in plastic, then put them all in a big ziploc.  Pull them out to thaw as needed.

I am going to jump in too and say thanks for the answer.  I will file this away and remember it the next time I make muffins.

I do this with lots of foods, including meats, carb foods, and soups.  I've done muffins too and everything is good.

The secret is getting out as much air as possible so it doesn't become frosty.

I do this all the time since my son is obsessed with muffins.

Ditto everyone else!  I like muffins but get free ones at work so I don't make that many!  However, I ALWAYS make them for new moms - individually wrapped and frozen.
