Puerta Vallarta in 2 weeks, Taheima Wellness Resort
There were a ton of travel voucher deals for Taheima Wellness Resort and Spa in PVR (Nuevo Vallarta) recently, so I'm wondering if anyone here has happened to stay there? The TripAdvisor reviews are either really good or really not good, so I'm not sure what to expect. My mom and I are traveling there in a couple of weeks. We lost my dad in February, and this is supposed to be a relaxing, healing getaway for both of us. I booked the trip, so I'm anxious for things to go smoothly so that my mom can have a nice vacation.
Is it easy to get a taxi from the airport? Is there anything I should know about the area? We are only there for four days, and mostly there to relax, but might be up for a little shopping or outing.
I had a ton of problems using the travel voucher that I had purchased, as I know many people did on this particular deal. I eventually canceled with Eversave, who I purchased the deal from, and they promptly refunded my money. The resort had offered to give me basically the same deal if I booked directly with them, so that is what I've done. But I'm just nervous that everything is on the up-and-up. It sounds like the resort is patchy in the customer service area.
