aw: did a pb tonight for my 1st 5 k!
34 and about 1/2 minutes! I am just so surprised how much i am improving. I was running 3.1 miles in the low 40s just a few weeks ago. My first 5 k is saturday, i am really hoping i can finish in the mid 30s, i will be super happy with that time.

thanks ladies! i am afraid of going back up to the 40s from being nervous w. all the other runners running around me. i'm used to running by myself. but i also know that as long as i finish it will still be an accomplishment. they are giving prizes out though for first timers w/ best time and i am secretly hoping for one. i keep thinking maybe i will be the only first timer and will win them all, lol.
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!
