Let's talk about L&O SVU - SPOILERS
So I am really loving the new cast members, except for Harry Connick, Jr. I don't like his character and I REALLY don't like the relationship his character is having with Olivia. Am I the only one?
I find it their relationship very distracting from the stories and wish they would make it all go away. It just seems so contrived and they have no chemistry at all to me. I know that they "broke up" last night, but I know that it will rear it's ugly head again before the season is over.

Yes. I said to DH last night, "Are we seeing Olivia's demise?"
Aaaaaand you just described Will & Grace, my favorite show EVER, which HC,Jr. promptly ruined.
I'm still bitter about it.
Mariska Hargitay is staying at least through next season if the show is renewed. This is common knowledge for the crazies like me who are obsessed with the show. She initially had signed only for this season, but she has said in several interviews that she loves where the show is going and loves the new life in it and will be signing another contract.
I love it this year. I was a huge fan of the Olivia and Elliot dynamic and was really worried about how the show would go on without him, but thanks to Warren Leight (the new EP), I am definitely not concerned any longer.
That said, I feel very meh about the relationship with Olivia and David. A lot of people have wanted Olivia to find love for a long time so she has a shot at being happen. I think a big part of her personality and her fire comes from the fact that she has been shafted so many times, and I would hate to see her lose this edge.
