Just wanted to say Hi 
My boyfriend and I just bought our first home together...a 2 story brick home that was built in 1992 and was recently foreclosed on...the bank did some minor upgrades (new carpet and neutral paint) but the whole place is in need of personality...and the Kitchen/bathrooms are a disaster of emerald green tile, brass fixtures and brown cabinets.
We are hoping to DIY 90% of our renovations with the help of my boyfriends dad & uncle who work in home construction......but with 2 kids home for the summer, the bfs fulltime job & grad school...and the simple fact that I have never even used a drill before might make this interesting lol.
