Royal Icing Experts
Hey Ladies - Has anyone made royal icing cookies with a shiny silver? I had a request for silver stars and I'm not 100% sure how to do that. Would I do a silver royal icing then use luster dust? Is that the prettiest way?

If it were me, I'd ice the cookies grey, then mix a tiny bit of lustre dust with vanilla extract or vodka and paint the icing.
Ditto this - by applying luster dust wet (mixed with vodka or everclear), you will get a much shinier silver look. Michael's does. There are no Hobby Lobby's near me, so I don't know about that one.
