Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Neighbor just put their dog of a gazillion years down.
Can you help me figure best way to be supportive and remind me of what to say/not say? We had to do this a few years ago x2 but I think I blocked it out. I also fear putting my foot in my mouth.
What gesture could I make that would be appreciated?
We are meeting at the curb for wine. (we often meet outside our houses to bs and such - (such = drink)).
Re: Neighbor just put their dog of a gazillion years down.
I'd just let them know you're very sorry and let them talk about her if they need to.
We normally donate to a rescue when a friend's dog dies. When our friend's golden died we donated to golden retriever rescue, etc.
