I need you girls to take my mind off the fact that I'm home alone during a massive tornado outbreak. There's one about 40 miles south of here. I'm watching the news and am totally safe... it's just not fun to do this while at home alone. Waaah. Ease my anxiety please and play along! Post your randoms here!
Mine: It's 4:30 and I just poured a little wine for a couple reasons: I had a huge presentation at work today and my boss said "Let's go out for drinks everyone!" I said "Mom (yes my boss is my mom lol), storms are coming! Everyone needs to go home!" And so she said "Right, everyone go home and have a drink!" Lol so... I listened! It's also helping me freak out a little less.
Another: I have girls night tonight, and dinner for it in the croc pot... I hope these storms don't ruin it!! I'm off to candy some pecans for a salad!
Re: Let's make a RANDOMS post!
Physical Therapy kicked my butt just now. I know it's worth it...but oh my gah...the pain was intense today.
I too need some WINE!
I've lost 25+ pounds so far this year. Yay me. But DH has lost nearly 50. And although he has more overall to lose, I'm having a hard time not being resentful. (I guess this is more of a confession than a random)
Our landlord still hasn't gotten anyone out to fix the drip in our bathroom (the roof is leaking) and it's been more than a month. Fortunately, we're almost done, hopefully, with rainy season - but STILL.
I've been craving crappy nachos all week. Like the awful from-a-can kind that you get at ballparks and dive bars. And it sounds amazing, even now.
I'm having a snack of cereal. Our local grocer calls their generic grape-nuts "Nutty Nuggets". This makes me giggle like a 12-year-old boy EVERY time I open the cabinet.
I told Dh I want to rework the budget to send DS to preschool this fall.
He told me if I stop buying Brie and wine that will cover the cost.
Not exactly what I has in mind. Brie wine and preschool are necessary for survival.

Amen sister. What if you cut out the brie and keep the wine? Bota Box wine is surprisingly good. I'm sipping some Shiraz right now. I think it was $16 a box which equals 4 bottles. Highly recommended if you like Reds. I'm sure their wihtes are just as good.
TJs has Shiraz and Chardonnay in box wine for like $9. It's australian, so not 2-buck-chuck. Some other producer. The Shiraz is freaking AWESOME. The chardonnay is good for the first few glasses, but I get tired of it awful quick.
ETA: Cuz I'm klassy like that, yo.
Ive never been happier I posted. This is even cheaper than my $6.50 1.5 liter of Livingston. I'm on it.

Glad to know the Shiraz is good...we've enjoyed the Chardonnay!
