Outdoor lighting? eta: And house numbers.
We bought a new front door and need a light for the porch. The selection at Lowes was.. awful. Online suggestions? I need brushed nickel and inexpensive.
Where's the best place to get house numbers too? We're going from brass to silver on the door and thus need to replace the light and the house numbers.

hmm usually Lowes has a better lighting selection than Home Depot, more variety at least. Did you try overstock?
house numbers we actually just spray painted ours black, but HD has some fun modern nickel ones.

Maybe it's just the one out here. Stores, in general, seem to have less pickings here than Kansas City.
I may end up spray painting our numbers silver, but since I'm not "allowed" to spray paint (says the H), then I will tell him he does it or we buy new lol.

Etsy has some cute house numbers.
As for the light..I don't know..mine are brushed Nickel and Lowe's..but super boring. I mean they're fine, but not the high impact dramatic statement you probably want.
Haha, no dramatic statement. I just want something that's not $50 and looks like it cost $4 to make. There was seriously one nickel one at my Lowes.
Thanks to Fox, I might have found a few suitable, I'll probably post a poll later.

Ha! I feel you. I think I bought the one set of nickel ones at Lowe's that a) they had b) didn't look super cheap.
Tons of white and black...and since this is the rural Midwest..brass but nothing I wanted either.
Yes. White. Black. Brass. NOOOOOOOO! I found a few nice ones online, so hopefully one will work.
