Good morning! WFB and plans for the weekend?
We had choc chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast, now DH is running a couple of errands while DD and I strip beds, start laundry and relax. When he gets home we'll go to a nearby nature preserve and take a walk. Then lunch (leftover chicken fajitas), and a nap for DD. While she naps, DH is touching up paint on our front porch and I'm doing a couple more errands and getting a pedicure. Grilling burgers for dinner, then we'll probably watch a movie once DD is in bed.
Tomorrow is church, finishing a couple of little projects around the house, and I need to pack for a work trip. Baked ham, roasted sweet potatoes and spinach salad for dinner.

Re: Good morning! WFB and plans for the weekend?
So far I've only had coffee...
I'm in the middle of making a corset cake right now for SIL's bachelorette party later. Frank and Bella are at the park right now...they'll come home for her nap, then he's taking her to run errands later since I'm leaving around 5.
No clue what they're doing for dinner, but SIL's choice for her party was a Viking cooking class - the theme is Japanese/hibachi, so that's what I'll be having.
Tomorrow - no set plans - supposed to be gorgeous out so we'll spend time outside, for sure. If we don't meet friends for dinner, we'll definitely grill.

Good Morning!
I've only had coffee so far but I need to go get some food. My plans for today are grocery shopping, watching the Bruins game, and heading to the movies tonight. Tomorrow is a full day of friend and family events followed by a great dinner reservation. And Monday is a holiday here in Mass. so I'll be watching the marathon. It is going to be so hot for those runners!
What a fun idea for a bachelorette party!
I'm making migas for breakfast.
And I plan to make a big elaborate dinner...and have nothing on tap in between then and now.
But candreco is making me feel like maybe I should be more productive.
So we'll see what gets done.
my food blog
B was a granola bar and a diet pepsi. So exciting.
H has a long day at work since Thursday was so easy (all he did was play in a charity tournament at his course...his teammate was Jessica Korda) so he is making up for it today. But he has tomorrow and Monday off
I cleaned my kitchen last night and I dusted today. I hate cleaning but I love the results
I'm also babysitting today from 3-6 (all I do is take her to the pool at her apartment complex) and getting a grocery list together. Going to make some things for easy work lunches. Trying to get everything ready so I can start my new job!
I've been sick for a few days, so I'm hoping that drains away today (literally...sinus infection/ear infection!). We have some big storms on tap for today, so I feel like everyone around here is only tentatively scheduling everything.
We were supposed to go to the Miranda Lambert concert tonight, but that doesn't sound like a fun place to be sick. Trying to sell those tickets.
So, basically, NO plans! homework and a little house cleaning, some grocery shopping tomorrow.
No breakfast yet- maybe tea and finishing the last of the muffins I made this week. Then up to North Jersey to see my friends today and his family tomorrow. H is in charge of dinner on Mondays, so no cooking on the horizon for a few days for me!
H and I usually go out for breakfast on Saturdays, but we both ended up having to work today, so I just grabbed a breakfast sandwich on the way to the office.
Lunch will be whatever is in the fridge at work.
My sister and brother are up for my dad's birthday tonight so I'm hoping we can come up with something fun to make for dinner together.
I also have to make a few salads for his birthday BBQ tomorrow - I'm going to make a couple of standards because thats wat everyone wants - a mayo based maccroni salad, and an italian dressing based pasta salad but yesterday someone posted this:
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Pasta-Salad-with-Mozzarella-Sun-Dried-Tomatoes-and-Olives-103773
So I think I'm going to make that too, just for something different.
LOL, it helps a lot that our days start at about 6am
H is out to sea so it is just me and the little guy this week, and he is sick so we had to bail on plans with friends for today. My dad might bring his mower over so I can mow the lawn (just moved into a new house and haven't bought one yet.) It's gorgeous out already so I want to spend time outside. My house is trashed and we have friends coming over tomorrow evening to hang out with my son, since they will be watching him overnight while H and I go on a retreat. He knows them, and the wife has worked in daycare for years so I am sure they can handle him, but the husband has never really been around kids other than when he is here. Good thing my kid rocks.
For breakfast I had an English muffin with peanut butter and a banana. As for plans its a laid back weekend. I'll take the dogs for a long walk while DH works on my car. We will most likely grill out for dinner since the weather is beautiful today. Then I'm babysitting overnight, but the kid is super easy and he comes to our house. Tomorrow my mom and I are going to a movie and possibly out for lunch.
DH is OOT, for breakfast I had tea and a blueberry scone (previously frozen). My plan for the day is to read and clean, if I am going to be alone for a few days I want to start with a clean house. A friend is coming over to use our tax program this afternoon. I plan to run to the grocery after he leaves to get some fruit and ingredients for dinner - broccoli & cauliflower soup from Prevention RD and enjoy my alone time.
Tomorrow I will go to visit DH, he is in Niagara Falls, we'll walk to the Falls and go to the casino. I'm planning to spend the night.
