anyone do a wine cork backsplash?

was talking about the idea today w/ friends & now i am thinking that it would be a great idea for our basement bar we are getting built. anyone do this or ever see one in person?

I think for a basement bar it would be really fun!! I would worry about it getting wet in a regular kitchen but I think for something like that it would be really nice.

No, but I've seen it as a bathmat:

 

and I'm guessing if it could stand up to that, it could work as a bar backsplash.

I like it in some kitchens where the counters & floors are plain without a lot of veining or marbling.

Love it! I think this would be perfect for a bar area. I would be concerned with it getting wet in a heavily used kitchen but for a bar area, this will be great!
