I used my food processor for the first time today, and shredded a bunch of cheddar and colby-jack cheese. For the most part, it went well, but there was definitely some cheese that gunked up between the work bowl lid and the grating blade. And digging that stuff out was a serious pain.
Any tips on what I can do to avoid this in the future? I'd pulled the cheese straight from the fridge, but should I have put it into the freezer for a bit to make it harder?
Thanks!!
