Last minute bday party for DH...recipes needed
My brother, DH, and his best friend have bdays within a week of each other. Brother has been super down after break up so I am throwing last minute bday party Saturday at 6. I work until 4 and would love to refrigerate and crock pot stuff before I go in to work. Any Ideas? So far I have just taco dip, veggie tray, crock pot meatballs. Thank you.

Not sure how many people or what type of menu you're aiming for, but here are some ideas...
Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
Melissa's Macaroni Salad
Hot Reuben Dip
Salty Sweet Candied Peanuts
Gorgonzola & White Wine Cheese Ball

I would make a tray of ziti that you can prepare ahead and just pop in the oven 30 minutes before everyone arrives. It would go good with the meatballs I think.
Another crockpot option is bbq pulled pork. Get a pork butt or shoulder, cover with a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce, cook on low for 6-10 hours and shred when you get home. Serve with rolls for making sandwhiches.
If your family won't inhale it, macaroni and cheese reheats beautifully in a 200 degree oven for 25 minutes.
For homemade pizza, you can make the crust and sauce in advance. You can also cut the toppings in advance and then assemble just before the party.
