What was I thinking?!

Just got back from Vegas yesterday...& I am running my very 1st 5k on Sat Sad

I haven't run since last Tues, & clearly Im not running today..even though I have the day off Big Smile 1. its super sh!tty out here, freezing cold, windy & mixing btwn rain & snow, & 2. there's no way I can do any form of physical activity after all that eating, drinking, & ridiculousness I just participated in the last 3 days!! Lol

What the heck posessed me to agree to run this race?!

  • Last Tuesday, like not even a week ago? You'll be fine.

    Do a short run on Tuesday and Thursday this week, and race on Saturday. 

  • You will be FINE!  You have 5 more days!  Run 3 miles tomorrow and then again on Wednesday and rest a day or two and you will be great on Saturday!

    Ok, phew, that will be my plan for the week. I go back to work tomorrow so I'll get back to the gym on my lunch hours too, I usually can get in a good 1/2 hr on the elliptical
