Hey ladies! I haven't posted on here in forever, and not sure how many of you even recognize me.
Anyway is there a rule/guideline of how many pictures, of my daughter, I hang in the LR, and master? I am having an awful time picking what pictures to order, and what sizes.
Thanks!

Re: Pictures
I might be shot down for this, but here is my opinion:
LR one or two... Master, go crazy. : )
Here is my rationale. Yes, your LO is super important to you, and having her pictures around are a personal touch, but your living room is "public space" in your house, meaning that when people come over, they will likely spend time in your LR. Let your LR reflect your whole life story. Choose one or two great shots of you LO, make sure the photos are the correct scale, framed well and share them with other important aspects of your life. Maybe one wedding photo (if you are married...) or one family photo. Then include other works of art and accessories that tell your friends and family who you are. I think that one or two well chosen photos make a much bigger impact than a wall of photos.
Have fun.
I think it depends. I don't know that there necessarily is a right or wrong answer. Your house should be a reflection of you and what's important to you. But if you put like...10 pictures of your daughter in every room and that's the only decor, that might be a bit much. I have 4 wedding pictures, and a picture of dd on the buffet table in our living room and I don't think its too much.
And I'm not going to lie, kid pictures in the master bedroom are kind of weird. I don't want to see a picture of my kid smiling down on me in a moment of passion with the H. Haha.
This. I keep our master just for us.
As for pics of my dd there's some in my office, a couple in her room, but the downstairs playroom/family room is pretty much a shrine to her.
I did a mini photo canvas wall so it's more artsy but I'll admit..It's puffy heart DD all the time down there.
I used to care...but I have a kid. She's cute. I like to show her off.
