Also, it's "Equal Pay Day" which isn't as great as it sounds
As explained to me, today is the date that women have earned "equal pay" as men for the previous year. In other words, the total $$ men in the workplace earned last year in 2011, women in the workplace had to work all of last year and up until TODAY of this year to have earned the same amount of $$.
Kind of maddening, but I think I will just use this as an excuse to make my guy friends buy the next few rounds of drinks at the bar.

Maybe I'm Unicorns & Glitter today, but I'm grateful to have what I have.
It'll never be equal. There are also different expectations between men and women in the same position.
::shrugs:: We're making $0.80 to their $1. It could always be worse.
