    Congrats, Mashed.

I wanted to participate in OOTD because I need approval on this Target dress I bought, but I took a picture with my camera, and brought in the SD card only to find out my work computer doesn't have an SD card slot. Well, hell.

I had another freak out last night.  This pregnancy/IF stuff is a lot of responsibility. I have ten million appointments (I have a job!) and I'm still taking meds, and I'm going to run out RIGHT BEFORE I'm supposed to stop taking them. I could spend almost $300 on refills for a total of about 4 doses. And I can't do anything in the evenings except lay on the couch and I make all this food but can't eat it half the time. I just have very specific things my body will let me eat for dinner and it's never what's already in my house. I stop at the store almost every day after work. So much for my grocery budget.

Lisa, ask your doctor for samples.  Or if they can write you a prescription for only the doses you need.

    This pregnancy/IF stuff

Wait, I haven't been around much, what's this about? Back story?

Add me to the list of people who now weigh more than Mashed. I'm floating at about 150 lately. I am hoping that changes soon as I just started my new position and already like it so much better than my old job. My boss is so much less stressful of a person. God, help me to stop stress eating now!

  • You guys, I've only lost about 5-7 pounds since I've been lifting, but I've gone from a size 10 to a 6. My bra size is the same. Actually, my boobs look better than before because I have real muscle holding them up and out.

ETA: I know I sound cult-ish, but lifting real weights really does work wonders.

  • Mashed - eep! I have to see you in the dress. How did you style it? I copied Veronica and wore it with a skinny belt, then put a turquoise cardigan on top.

Boxer, I have left a message with the nurse and haven't heard back. I actually asked if I could just wean early. I have to take the expensive med tonight (super low dose) and I would like to know if I should start weaning or not before I take the damn shot. They have given me samples before, but they are in Reno and I don't know if they would go so far as to mail me samples. I will ask.

Peony - I did IVF and am pregnant, but I am not really out about it because I don't actually believe it. I keep waiting for things to go south. We heard/saw the heartbeat so I'm sure I should be breathing easier right now, but I'm not. I don't actually like to talk about it unless I'm complaining.

Fenton- try a resistence band. Then you can take it with you on the run to use on the benches and trees for arm & leg stuff. I love that thing.

I don't know if you guys have Aldi's there but I just picked up a couple resistence bands there for $3.00 a piece this weekend... goes back to lurking on this board....

Is your kid's name really Atreyu? I can't decide if that's awesome or awful.

That's amazingly awesome. I figured that is what you were saying but didn't want to make a wrong assumption. I'm really happy for you, even if you're just being cautious right now. I know you're worried but I hope that dissipates soon. Once you see the heartbeat, there is really great odds. I'm really, really happy for you.

  • Lisa, I'll try to remember to take a picture when I get home.  I'm wearing it with a fuscia cardigan.  I really need to invest in some belts.

  • Awesome mashed!

I have the book Wendy and Okla follow, I feel like I should probably read it. Can I do that all at home (we have weights I think to 75lb).

my dyelemma is that I think this would be my perfect weight if not for my gut. I want to lose it, but I know my precious boobies will also deflate from C to B again. SOPHIE'S CHOICE!

This is where I'm at. I'm fine with almost everything but I'd love to tighten up my gut but I am a motherfucking D CUP now and I will not lose that. No I won't.

I guess if I could be guaranteed to not gain any more, I'd be good. How does one maintain weight? Maybe I should try weights.

I almost wore one of my three fuschia cardigans but they just didn't lay right.

Yes, his name is Atreyu... I think it is awesome... and honestly I could care less what you think of it.

  • Mashed. Congratulations!! If I was your height, 145 would be my goal so girl, in my world you are done. Unfortunately I am 5'3" so 135 is my goal. I am at 163 now so only 28 more pounds to go.

Moo, the blog Can You Stay for Dinner has an interesting (IMO) section on weight maintenance.

Fenton, check out the book Chi Running. I am just starting it under the guidance of my physical therapist for my IT band and bursitis issues.

  • Hell yeah mashed!!! Gurrrrl. You skinny. Just accept it.

I'm at 143. I think forever. The scale isn't budging. But the weight lifting is making my body look better so that's my main goal.

  • Wow Mashed!  You're amazing!  I just want to be under 200!  I was getting close.  And then the spawn ruined everything.  After not gaining any weight first tri, I magically put on 3 pounds in a week.  Today my doctor was basically like, this is pregnancy.  You have to adjust your thinking about gaining weight.  I love my OB.  she's good for a dose of common sense and a side of calm the fuuk down Christin.

Kristen, you look gorgeous in every photo I've seen of you. I don't think you will get any improvement from losing weight. I think you're perfect.
