Bored? What to decorate a future bathroom?
We are planning on putting in a 1/2 bath with stackable laundry area on main floor of home. The space is roughly 5x7. The house is an old farm house and i like to keep things simple, functional and charming. Since we do plan to sell in few years i have moved from bold and colorful to a muted neutral scheme. Our living room and dining room are linen white and the floors are going to be oak saddle by bruce.
That said the dh wanted a pop of color and picked orange. not my favorite color by a long shot. i would entertain orange accents but not a whole room. I do fancy color and going neutral has been interesting. I was leaning towards blue/grey, grey tiles or wood looking tile. My thought is keep the walls and floors universally appealing and add color with accessories, etc. The H said to ask the nesties, lol. So if you had to blank slate what would you do?
FWIW we have decided on a sink that works best with layout. It's wall mounted.
