anyone have tailgate recipes that can actually be done at a tailgate?

We have a grill and possibly a crock pot but nothing else, we are also traveling 2.5 hours or so so it's a bit long to stay hot, any suggestions?

Re: anyone have tailgate recipes that can actually be done at a tailgate?

  • Buffalo chicken sandwiches (grilled chicken, wing sauce, shredded lettuce, blue cheese dressing, rolls)

Shaved steak sandwiches (shaved steak, peppers, onions, mayo, cheese, shredded lettuce, rolls)

Nachos (chips, shredded lettuce, jalapenos, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream ,salsa, cheese, deep aluminium pan)

s'mores (marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, sticks/skewers or aluminum foil)

    kabobs

    burgers/hot dogs

Don't forget grilling tools, extra gas, lighter/matches, cooking spray, aluminum foil, cast iron grill pan

    Cricket's Cadence
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Buffalo Chicken Dip or Chili Cheese Dip could be made ahead of time and heated up in the crock pot.

Or you could do that cold spinach dip (with the Knorr soup packet or Ranch Dressing packet), or any cold dip or salsa, and keep it in a cooler for the drive.
