Is this trend over? Is it a 2011 thing? Lol. I know its been around but have just recently started considering doing it to my hair. I'd go natural-ish looking, like Lily Aldridge or Jessica Biel ( I don't know how to PIP). Does anyone have experience w it? Opinions?

I don't think it's nearly as big a trend as it was last year, but I don't think it's out of style either. I think the key is definitely going more natural with it, which it sounds like your intention would be. My hairdresser keeps talking about wanting to do it on me, but I'm in a not dying my hair mode right now.

You'll get mixed answers on here, but I just did it to my hair a couple of weeks ago and love it.  I have red hair so I never want to dye my whole head, so this was a perfect option for me.

I have long wavy dark blond hair and I thought about it during my last appointment. I wear it straight about half of the time and thought it wouldn't look good when I did.  I think you also have to be careful of how it turns out.

Hmm.. I wear my hair straight a lot too, that's a good point! I suppose it wouldn't take more than 5 min to curl the ends if it made it look better. I think I'm gonna go for it! Thanks!!

I'd say the trend is slowly dying out, however, it's not something I watch closely since I was never a fan.
