Blender for Smoothies

Does anybody make smoothies daily?? if so what blender do you use?  We have had a bullet worked for awhile then a kitchen aid mixer and it broke.. not sure what we should get.. need the ice to crush.. vita mixer is so expensive.. but maybe worth it.. not sure what do you think?

If you can afford it, the vita mix is totally worth it.  My sister actually travels to girls' weekends with hers to make margaritas and such bc it's so awesome.

I have a smoothie every morning for breakfast and got a vitamix last year and absolutely love it.

I did a lot of research before we bought this one from kitchenaid.I got it for a much better price than what it's listed for though, I believe I caught a sale. We use it probably 5 times a week for smoothies and have had it for over two years now.

I got a ninja (the $60 model) and it does a great job with smoothies. I like it a lot better than the bullet. (had a bullet and it bit the dust) I would live a vitamix, but couldn't spend that kind of $ right now and really really like my ninja!

where the top is also a travel cup. I like the one with the travel cup because I can just grab it when I'm done making the smoothie.

Wish I could afford the Vitamix but we currently use the Magic Bullet very often.

I second the ninja. I don't have one, but my parents do, and they absolutely love it.  They probably use it daily, espeically during the summer!  I've used it and never used a blender that worked better than this one.

I would love a Vitamix, just can't afford/justify it.  We have a few at work in our break room so I just make smoothies here!  At home, since I don't use them as often, I use my magic bullet.  Works well, just not a vitamix!
