Window treatments

We are redecorating the family room downstairs in our bi-level. The top half of the walls are Mesa red and the bottom half is white wainscoting. All of the trim, crown molding, ceiling and doors are white.  We are not sure what type of flooring yet. We have black leather furniture, dark wood console and the Ikea hemnes sofa table and pottery barn wall units are white.

What type of window treatments should we use in the two windows that are  43"x51" and what color(s) would you choose?

TIA

Re: Window treatments

  • I don't know your style, but I'd probably go with a print to break up the solid colors and soften the room (those colors could come off as very bold in large doses). World Market and Pier 1 both a several styles of printed curtains that could match.
