So it looks like we're traveling south for one of the "ponts" next month. Have you ever taken LO to the Calanques? Or is it really just a hike-it-to-see-it kind of experience? There's no way she could handle that kind of hike right now. DH and I may end up doing it in turns, one staying with DD in Marseilles for the day while the other hikes out and then swapping roles the next day, but it would be nice to do something as a family.
Also, is May beach weather in the south?

We haven't been yet, we've just driven by, sorry no advice. We have done some cliffs in the Esterel but they were not suitable for M, H had to carry him down to the beaches.
