s/o teens and hospitals

Yesterday my cousin's GF went into the emergency room because she was feeling really run down. They did some blood tests and ended up having to take some bone marrow to run some tests. As of yesterday morning she was diagnosed with Leukemia sub category APL. She started chemotherapy yesterday morning and is expected to be in the hospital for the next month or so.

The type of leukemia she has has a 75-80% survival rate when chemotherapy is administered (hence the quick jump to chemotherapy). She's only 19.

I am not sure what I would do if my SO was diagnosed with cancer and I can only imagine what my cousin is going through... T&Ps please and thanks.
