I like Lowes Del Conca Rialto White Tile. image

But I also wanted to used wainscoting in the room.  Would this go together or look out of place?

Re: tile + wainscoting?

  • Where would you put that tile?  Floor?  Walls?  I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do.
  • On the floors of half bath with laundry closet,   The room is appx 5 x 7.

  • So you're trying to decide if tile flooring and wainscoting on the walls work in the same bathroom?

This question feels like asking if white and tan can "work" in the same room.  Yes.  Of course.  Don't overthink this.  That tile is pretty much the definition of neutral.  Wainscoting (one t) is common in bathrooms.

If you're not sure about it, do a google image search and find something that looks similar.  See if you like it.

  • Def over thinking!  Thanks Susie.  I think my main problem is I normally go for bold over neutral and trying to do the opposite now since we are going to have to sell the home in a few years.
