Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

teambuilder might be fun this year
I just filled out a "trivia questionnaire" for coirker that will be part of the teambuilder event next week. She said in the email to have fun with it, we'll be having to guess people's answers later.
Of course, the very first question on it says "How many children do you have?"
I just put down "none, praise the lord!"
It doesn't ask "Do you have children?" it just assumes you have some, I almost wanted to put down something like "None for me, 128 this year for my husband" .
I am at least happy to hear that we are going to be given beer tickets at this one, which will also be a crawfish boil. First time since I've worked here that our dept gets booze at one of these, even though I hear other depts have done it before. It definitely makes the "coirker bonding" a little less awkward if there's something to drink, I am so glad they are coming around to that idea in our dept!

And booze always makes it better. Especially when someone has a little too much... at my first work party, that was my boss. Haha.
