We love ground turkey!

 

We will brown it, mix it in with undercooked pasta, tomato sauce and bake topping it with mozz cheese towards the end. Makes great leftovers.

It's also great in stroganoff instead of beef.

We had ground turkey tonight. I sauteed 2 grated zucchini, sauteed a pan of mushrooms , then mixed cooked gr turkey-zucchini-mushrooms-marinara sauce and served it over spaghetti squash.  Yumm. 4 huge servings and lots of veggies.

Pretty much anything that calls for ground beef gets made with ground turkey instead in my house.  Our go-to recipes are chili, sloppy joes, tacos/burritos, meatballs and egg rolls.  I'll also use it in sauce for pasta/lasagna, and sometimes I stuff buttermilk biscuits, crescent rolls or pie dough with it (often adding some sauce and/or cheese) to make little cheeseburger or pizza pockets.
