What to wear with this skirt?

Hello Ladies,

 I usually lurk, but I need help.  I bought this skirt because it looks fantastic on and I usually cannot pull off wearing skirts--I always look weird.  What top would I wear with this?  I am 5'1 and I have curves.  I would like to be able to wear this to the office and weekends out.  TIA!

Since the skirt has multi-layers of flounces and a black & white print, I'd keep the top streamlined and simple.  For work, you can do a lightweight cardigan or V-neck short sleeve or 3/4 sweater.  Or a silk or polyester blouse top.  You can wear practically any color because the skirt is made up of neutral colors.

For the weekends, I'd cas it up with a tank top or a cotton t-shirt.  Throw on a denim jacket over it and you're set.

I'm advising v-necks since they elongate your neck and draw attention to your neck and face and away from trouble spots that many women have.  They also appear to make a woman look less top-heavy, especially if she has big breasts.
