New eyeglass style?

Broke my driving glasses last week and went yeserday to get new ones.

They tred to convine me that the new "IN" style is the big round frames, a la Ali McGraw in Love Story.

I am seeing less and less of the frameless style but are the owl glasses really something I should look at?  They do look better on me tha the frameless ut I don't want to look dated in the 80s.

Re: New eyeglass style?

  • I alternate between 2 pairs at the moment that are less than a year old.  I currently have these:

    and these:

I tend to wear the first pair more and get compliments on both.  Warby Parker has a lot of frames that are popular too.  My sunglasses are the big round frames, but haven't seen those as being popular for normal glasses unless it's a newer trend or regional.

  • These are my current frame Rayban 5242

  • my current frames are Anne Klein 9106 (half rimless) but I love love love full rimless glasses like your old ones. my old frames were rimless. I think they're classic so if you want rimless, get rimless.

    here's my current frames:
