New to turnips.... recipe suggestions?
In an attempt to try new foods and also hope that my littles follow suit (yeah, right!), I purchased two turnips even though I had no idea what to do with them.
What have you done to turnips to make them tasty and what have you served them with?
Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things!

I love them roasted - just chop, toss with oil and seasonings, and stick in the oven.
I also tend to use them in soups/stews.

Do you know what kind they are? Some of them (the smaller ones generally) are actually better raw, but I'm assuming you got the bigger/heartier ones that are good roasted.
