Visa Interview Scheduled!

Just one small question left... does it really take 7-10 business days to get his green card back from the consulate in London after the visa interview (for his US visa)?

Anyone have experience?

We didn't get the green card til we were back in the US do they must have changed it. They approved us in London, we could have left that day for the US, then at the airport in the US you get taken to a special area, they take the envelope you have and send you the green card

Congrats with almost being done with the process. :)

SBride I think you mean the entry visa in the passport? That's what DH had. I think we got his passport in the mail in about a week. The other option was picking it up the next day at the embassy. But we didn't live close to it so we had it mailed. We also put our own postage on the envelope. We payed for A post and made sure it had to be signed for.

You can still technically be denied at border when you fly to the US. You get taken to a special area.  DH got finger printed, signed some stuff, and confirmed the address. We got the actual green card about two weeks after entry into the US.
