Thinking of getting some of these. I see that they are "fast-growing" and can reach 15 feet or so, but I can't seem to find out how fast. Are we talking several years or several months?
TIA!

Re: Thuja Privacy Shrubs
Take a look that the Evergreen Plant Nursery website. They have a variety of Thuja. I'm planning on buying them for my yard too. What I've seen on the website is that the growth can be about 8-16in a year depending on the variety and the amount of sunlight it gets.

My suggestion would be to decide what type of height you need, amount of sunlight, USDA zone, and how big of a tree you want. For example, I have a very narrow backyard and not a lot of yard space. So, I'm going to opt for a tree that doesn't get very wide and keep the ideal height to about 15ft. I don't want the trees to shade my backyard or cast shade on my raised veggie beds. The only goal is to provide some privacy along the retaining wall in my backyard.
