More on beachy waves

Yesterday my hair stylist did beachy waves for me.... I have had the hardest time getting curl to stay, and all she did was dry my hair 3/4 of the way through - not using a brush, just her fingers - then sprayed bundle and bumble hairspray in the blue can, then used a curling wand. Afterwards she lightly hairsprayed it again. I slept on it and the waves are still there!  The last few times I've tried myself I practically had straight hair within an hour or two.

  • Thanks!

so she curled it when it was still a little bit wet?

  • I wouldn't say wet, but just slightly (very slightly) damp, and she didn't use a brush, which I think was important.  I mean - she initially used a brush to get the tangles out, but then she dried it and just used her fingers, so she was "straightening it up" but not straightening it, does that make sense?
