What do you store on your lazy susan?

What do you store on yours? (This is the double tier type lazy suzan inside of a cabinet, in case there was confusion...)

We'll have a pantry so I probably won't put food items in any of the cabinets (besides spices).

Re: What do you store on your lazy susan?

  • We have two.  One have pot lids on the top shelf and my dutch ovens and round casserole bakers on the bottom since they didn't really fit any where else. The other one has tupperware, storage containers, and vases.

  • I really wanted one in the home we are building but due to the configuration of the kitchen, it wasn't possible. BOO! If I had gotten one though, I would have used it to store pots and pans along with lids and probably less used casserole dishes and such. Like you, we have a panty and wouldn't use it to store food.
  • We have two lower ones and in the larger one I store small appliances (blender etc) and bowls.   The smaller one stores baking stuff, but I almost used it to store tupperware.
  • We have two on either side of the sink, U-shaped kitchen.

The one next to the stove is for pots and pans.  The one next to the dishwasher is tupperware.

  • I am no help, we store food there!  I am sure there are better uses for it, but that was the first idea I had when we moved in because both the houses I grew up in always used them for food.

  • I have little ones with spices on them. LOL Mom has huge ones in a lower cabinet at her house. they have mixing bowls, pyrex measuring cups, and pots and pans on the bottom. Lots of people use them for tupperware.

  • Some mixing bowls, casserole dishes and tupperware. When we don't have small kids I hope to have that cupboard more organized, LOL!!! DD gets in there regularly.

  • Back when I had one, I kept canned goods, etc on mine because I didn't have a pantry.  If I had HAD a pantry, I would have stored my baking supplies in there - the hand mixer, my sets of mixing bowls, a basket with measuring spoons and cups in it, rolling pins, etc.  Probably also baking dishes, cake pans, and pie plates.

  • We have spices on the top shelf and on the lower I keep my food chopper and mandoline.   I have a pantry but since the lazy susan is closer to the stove and sink where I do food prep its more convenient to use the lasy susan for spices.

  • We have two in our kitchen. The one closest to the stove has spices, olive oil, vinegar, that kind of stuff.

The other one houses k-cup boxes, and other cooking things we don't use frequently, like chocolate chips, brown sugar. Whenever I buy extra cans of drip coffee I store them in there also.
