Not FBR - what to name our LLC

H and I have to create an LLC for tax purposes and cannot figure out what to name it.  I wanted touse our initials but he doesn't like that.  He wants something "creative" but I think it should tie in to us somehow without being overly personal.  We are in a specific industry but don't want to limit ourselves.  We are in the oil industry but it's hard to put what we do in just a few words.  We were thinking something like Resources, Services, or something like that.  That way if I want to do some contract work or consulting with my degree then that's an option but it doesn't limit us to any one industry. 

What do you think of when you see Services or Resources or Consulting or something?  And what would you name one right now?

Having no clue what you do- I say go with something like "A&B Consulting Services" or some variation of that. A&B being your initials or something like that. Or- what about "creative solutions" or something?

I don't have any suggestion, my DH a few years ago was registering an LLC for his mom's business in Texas and a lot of the names and combination of names, initial + consulting, etc that they wanted was already taken!

Yea our lawyer told us not to use our actual name so there is some degree of privacy but I'm sure ours will be taken!  He's in the process of doing it now so I think I might find out shortly I hope.  If not, we have some other options but what I had to explain to H is that we won't open our own business under this name if/when the time comes to do that.  At that time we will do a corporation rather than an llc so we will have the opportunity to have a different name at that time and will likely use our last name in some capacity because at that point we will be selling services and want people to be able to find us that we already know in the industry so our last name sounds the most applicable in that situation.  I'm so excited to get this set up - I feel like we are one step closer to the business world we want to conquer!

What about something like "Well-oiled Machine Consulting Services" (which could also be shortened to WOM Consulting Services or something) so it kind of plays on the oil aspect of your company, but could also just give the impression that you are great at what you do when consulting as well?

Why not keep the LLC structure or start another new LLC when the time comes.  If you do a regular C corp, you are going to have another level of tax to pay among other annoying things.  You can have a LLC be a member in the existing LLC and still have protection of your personal assets, outside the business. Discuss with your attorney.

I was just reading an article about naming companies and they said the trend is to use a name that implies what you want, and then end it with a different ending. They used Expedia as an example. Also, Accenture, Travelocity, etc.
