Thanks for re-posting your Flying Pig recap. I can't believe you just up and ran the marathon without really planning to - in the rain and over the hills - and set a PR! Surely I will be okay in the rain if it comes.

You'll be fine. Sometimes running in the rain is nicer anyway. I tend to overheat easily, so I kind of like it.
Two more things that I thought of:
My shorts were a bit roomy and did not have a draw string. After they got wet, it was very difficult to keep them up.
If your shirt gets soaked and the arm pit seams feel like they are rubbing, take it off right away even if it seems like it is against your better judgement to run topless. Your arm pits will thank you the next day.
