Weak nails that split/peel - looking for a miracle
They have always been like this and with two kids I'm rough on my hands. I need to strengthen these suckers and grow them at least a little.
Any recs?

Rejuvacote helped my nails a lot! got it at the salon. prenatal vitamins made a big difference as well.
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Everyone's nails respond differently, but I would start with one of these two and see how they work for you.

I agree with the PP who recommended cuticle cream - it's one of the biggest factors for me. That, and avoiding nail polish. I wear polish on my fingers once in a blue moon because my nails freak out and split/peel. I'm not sure *why*, but I'm sure that nail polish is the cause.
I've actually started making my own cuticle cream (I'm a huge geek), but there are lots of products (like Burt's Bees or OPI Avoderm) that are good and easily transportable. You can also just rub a little oil (any kind - even olive oil) into your cuticles to help keep them moisturized.

Duri Rejuvicote and cuticle oil. I like the Essie pen, it smells nice and doesn't make my hands greasy. And I can toss one in my bag or car or nighstand and have it available to use when I think of it. I have the Lush one, but it craps up my hands to use, so I don't.
