Do you use a coverlet?

We're getting new bedding (new duvet cover, sheets, shams and bedskirt) and I'm wondering how many people actually use a coverlet.  I never have, but think they look nice. 

So, do you use one?  Worth the extra money?

We use a coverlet during the summer in place of the comforter. So for us it's worth it...

We use the comforter all year. During the winter, we add an extra blanket between the sheet and comforter as needed.

Thanks!    We obviously haven't announced it on fb yet, lol.  I keep meaning too though!

We use a coverlet in the summer time because it get warm here. Other times of the year we use a comforter.

we use ours. We use the duvet all year round, but in the winter I add the coverlet for a little extra.

We don't use one.  Since in the summer H blast the airconditioning at sub-arctic temps, I must use a comforter all year or I will freeze to death--in July.

We don't use ours but I like it for the look. My parents just use their coverlet and the duvet is just for looks.

We use a quilt in the summer b/c it's pretty warm here.

Our bedding is layered because I like the look. Flat sheet + coverlet + down comforter with duvet. When it's warm we fold down the comforter and just sleep under the coverlet.

we use a coverlet - our style is pretty minimal and we don't like the look of a duvet or comforter. that being said, we do have a thin down comforter that goes underneath the coverlet for extra warmth. the coverlet on it's own is not enough for me.
