Need help with a new look for myself

I'm a SAHM and I realise that, especially over winter, I have a "uniform" that I wear.

I pretty much wear jeans, a singlet, a merino (fine wool) jumper or tunic and a cardigan. I might dress it up with a scarf or jewelry if I'm going out, and I have it all in a variety of colours, but it's basically the same look day in and day out.

I'm happy with the look itself, but want some variety in my wardrobe for days when I want to look a bit dressier or more interesting.

Because I'm BF I need tops that I can easily pull up for easy access.

I suppose I've found a look that is easy comfortable and that suits me, and I need some inspiration to find some new looks.

Any websites, resources or ideas to branch out to try new looks?

Re: Need help with a new look for myself

  • One of the BFing moms on here posted some cowlneck tops she got at NY&Co that were really cute; to make it into more of an outfit you could add a blazer on top.  Recently I'm really into H&M's; which are cute and great prices.
  • Hi there. I'm not nearly the style expert as most of the ladies on this board or, but as a fellow BF mom I know what you are going through. I've been doing a bit of searching for BF friendly clothing as well. I work in a very casual environment and my wardrobe definitely reflects that. I've found a couple deep V Neck T and crossover tee shirts that have worked really well. I'll usually throw a jacket or cardigan over them and pair them with jeans. If the V is too deep then I also throw on a scarf which dresses the outfit up a little bit. I often resort to a nursing cami under a button down blouse.

I happened upon this blog that has given me a lot of ideas  http://www.milkfriendly.com/. They also have a sponsor that I saw some really cute tee shirts but haven't purchased any yet. http://www.mamafeelsgood.com/

I look forward to the suggestions that the other ladies as well. Good Luck!
