Pet Peeves

  • People that say "could care less" when they really mean "could not care less"
  • People that walk in the middle of the road, slowly (especially when there is a sidewalk 10 feet to the side).
  • People that drive 35, in the left lane of a highway.

Feel free to share your own. Smile (For the record, I encounted all three of these things precoffee this morning!)

Re: Pet Peeves

  • When people are walking in front of you on a busy stretch (sidewalk or grocery aisle) and just stop all of the sudden without any notice, rather than moving over to the side.

People who don't use blinkers and turn signals.

Chewing with the mouth open, or smacking gum loudly.

When someone says "whatever you want is fine" then you suggest something, then they say "but not that" and offer no other suggestions.   FFS, just tell me what you like and don't make me guess!

Oh my god! My husband does this all the time!

Me: Where do you want to go for dinner?
Hubby: I don't care. You pick.
    Me: How about Mexican?
    Hubby: Ugh. No.
Me: Then what do you want?
    Hubby: Whatever. I'm easy.
ME: NO YOU'RE NOT! YOU ARE THE WORST! JUST PICK SOMETHING GODDAMMIT!!!!!

    These!

Along with people who litter and people who are arrogant.  I cannot stand arrogant people!

This drives me crazy! It isn't even how fast their going that makes me stabby. It's the fact that it's the fast lane. If you have a line of cars behind you, move the *** over. Azzholes.

Talking on the cell phone while driving. The fact that your slowing way down/swerving/braking alerts me to the fact that no, you cannot pay attention and talk at the same time. Get off your damn phone and drive.

I hate that too. I sometimes think people need brake lights and blinkers on their clothes.

  • When I'm talking to someone and then they get lost in reading/answering a text while I'm saying something that I may find important.

Hypocritical people (i.e. DH's cousin that wrote on FB about people who go to tanning beds/getting cancer/she's happy with her pale skin... and then posted a photo of her smoking a cig. Umm... that's cancer too)

People who don't know the difference between there/their/they're, two/to/too, etc.

People who make everything a competition - example:

me: My back hurts today :(
asssshole: oh really? well, my back, neck, feet, uterus, and thyroid hurt

When there are two lanes and both cars in front of you are going the same speed so you can't pass either of them

People who make fun of others is a negative way

Students that talk back to the teacher (more than necessary). I've talked back to teachers before, yeah, but I also have respect for the people that give me a grade. Even if I don't have respect for them, it's called sucking it up...
