Sorta ndr: if you don't have cable
What do you use to watch tv or certain shows? We have a play station and a wii. We do have net flicks already. I just didn't know if their are other options.
Re: Sorta ndr: if you don't have cable
We have dish through our landlord at the moment. But after we buy a house here, we'll go back to being antenna-only. Is that an option for you?
We tried and we can only sometimes get one station.
We have a hulu plus subscription and a netflix subscription. We view both on the xbox 360.
We also have a Rotku that you can view the same things (along with Pandora, youtube and some other stations that they have availalble.) We don't have it hooked up right now because we just moved, but will have it in our bedroom once things get situated.
Maybe you need a more powerful antenna or better antenna angle. Although, being in Kansas, I'm guessing it's just a ways to the closest tv market, right?
Hmmm. If you have Netflix already, what about Hulu plus?
Yeah we are 25 miles to the closet station and 100 to the next closet stations.
We have apple tv, an Xbox and a media pc. We use iTunes, amazon, Hulu and Netflix.
What do we use to watch TV?
The on/off switch....
TV is not a big part of our lives.
We use our blue-ray player to stream netflix and hulu plus. (I think you can do those both on the wii, too.)
For regular broadcast TV, we have an old-fashioned antenna and we get quite a few channels, despite being 60 miles from the "local" stations.
