Popping Out of the Woodwork for an NPR Poll (Shoes! LIP)

Hi Pesties!

It's a slow Friday here at work and the sunshine outside is calling my name. Since I can't spend all afternoon outside though (stupid job!), I've put myself to the task of finding shoes for a wedding I'm in in October.

Details! The dresses are full-length plum-colored A-lines; the bride would like them hemmed (necessary for us shorties!) so they just hit the floor. As such, she's not too picky about shoes and just requests they all be silver of a strappy/sandal-y variety (why this combo for an October wedding, I have no idea, but I'm doing what I'm told!).

I've found 2 pairs of shoes that I actually really like (strappy silver is NOT my thing, and I just can't bring myself to buy shoes I find hideous and will never wear again) and the bride has approved of! I'd like the Pesties to weigh in on which pair they think I should go with.

Shoe #1: Audrey Brooke Shocker Sandal
Shoe #2: Audrey Brooke Stacey Sandal

TIA Ladies!

  • I like #2 better, but I think #1 is a better fit for you.

Haha! I tend to agree. The first pair is more "me" and funky/fashionable (and cheaper!), but I think the second pair is a little more wedding-y and sophisticated. Either way, both pairs are equally appealing to have in my shoe collection for future wear!
