So I've been feeling baby fever hardcore since my brother, his wife and their new baby moved like 10 minutes down the road from me. 

Today I find out that my sister, who is my best friend and I spend most of my free time with, is pregnant.

I am so jealous I've turned an unattractive shade of green. This is bad.

Well.  Babies are awesome, but they do not allow time for video games.  I JUST got Skyrim and have maybe played it 3 times.  I'm level 4.  I probably won't play it again until possibly next weekend.

But she can brighten my day in a hot second just by giving me a hug.

I'm not so jealous as much as I am bummed it's not happening for DH and me ....

when I get this way, I have to take a step back and realize that this isn't what we want right now. It helps me be happy for new parents and helps me let go a little. I really do enjoy the child-free life, sometimes it's hard to remember though.

This. I also will sit and calculate the amount of money we would be spending on things like daycare and diapers and just furnishing a nursery, and then I'm grateful for the fact that we don't have children yet.
