2 over kitchen island....too much?

i can't believe i can't choose something for over our island

our whole downstairs is very light with dark floors and i want the black accents in the lighting

My girlfriend has two similar pendants and they look really pretty. They're small enough to add just a bit of sparkle without being overwhelmingly blingy.

It's a little much for my personal taste but it might work for you. I think it really depends on the size of the island and the size of the fixture itself.

I agree. For a standard size island I think 1 might be plenty.

I would put them up and see how they look; you can always return them and do something else.

me, too. only b/c of the sizing and the design/style of the rest of the space.

i have seen some lovely kitchens with extravagant pendant chandeliers that look great.

I like them, but then again, if I had my way, I would have a chandelier in every room of the house. Pretty! Like PP said, you could always return it if it doesn't "work" -- can you post a picture of the intended space it would be hanging in?
