As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. My date was cancelled
He called me around 4:00 and said he had some stomach bug. Not sure if that is true or not but it was a blessing.
Today my friend asked me if the company he works for had a facebook page. I hadn't even thought of that so I checked and I found a picture of him. Not my type at all so I was already going into tonight negative because of how he looked (shallow much). The picture made me lose my excitement.
We weren't supposed to go out until about 9 tonight.
Get this though - he said that we could see how he was feeling in a few hours and maybe we could still get together. I said no. I hope he felt better and that I would just go out with my friends. I'm not but he doesn't need to know that.
Got a text after I got off the phone with him saying that he was truly looking forward to spending time with me tonight and timing is everything, blah, blah.
I call BS, but I don't care either way. Not interested.
And this ladies, is why I don't date.
Now to get in my pj's, have a glass of wine and watch Revenge from Wed.

Well, I think you handled it great. And especially by not offering to see him later when/if he "feels better". Im not so sure Id believe it too from what it sounds like, but maybe he saw your pic online and got intimidated lol, dang internet
Theres alot to be said to having your own time, dont sell it short ! You will miss it when you are in ur next relationship, watching the man sitting in front of you with hands scratching his balls, wondering where your girl time used to go hahahaha

Also me time is awesome! I am choosing me time as my bday gift to me (besides my awesome new cut/color), drink my fav wine, eating fav appitizers, and having my parents drop off my yummy pad tai take out and my presents! It may sound strange but I am so pumped and have been all day

Well, maybe it was a blessing but I think it's ok to be a little disappointed about it. It would still be fun for you to go on a date, but maybe one where you know the person beforehand and can actually be excited about it!
