Boot Recs?

What are y'all's suggestions for boots that are cute, yet functional. My husband and I will be moving up North, and I've still got a while, but I was hoping I could find some boots on sale in the off-season. We currently live in Florida, and I'm from Georgia, so I don't have much of a clue what boots a re the warmest. Thank y'all!

Re: Boot Recs?

  • IMO it's hard to find boots that will be both functional for shoveling snow and cute for wearing out or to work.  I would probably get one pair of functional snow boots (like Sorels) and get a separate pair of cute boots.

  • I agree. I have functional boots (LL Bean Bean boots with fleece lining) and dress/casual boots for when it isn't icy and snowy.
  • Actual snow boots are more functional than cute. If you work in a professional environment, most women wear snow boots on days that they are needed and change at work.  I have a pair of Sorels that are AMAZING.  For regular boots, the sky is the limit.  Ankle boots, knee boots, booties...they are a great option for footwear in the fall/winter for colder climates.
