Show me your kitchen with walnut cabinets?
We're doing walnut cabinets and I'm trying to figure out what to do for countertops (granted I have months to decide this, I'm just trying to pin some inspiration pictures). Floors will be maple or white oak. I'd like stone countertops, and white subway tile for the backsplash. BUT I'm having a hard time picturing light stone with the white tile.
Re: Show me your kitchen with walnut cabinets?
Do you have a photo of your cabinets?
What about doing a stone backsplash or a color subway tile? Maybe something like this - click - for stone. Are your cabinets this color or are they lighter?

Fun! We are in the same boat (I actually just started a thread with our kitchen selections).
Those are very pretty cabinets. Are you wanting to do a white subway tile or are you considering some of the glass style tiles?

These aren't light stone countertops but it will give you an idea of the dark cabinets with the white oak flooring - http://www.houzz.com/photos/31025/Oakley-Ave--Kitchen-traditional-kitchen-chicago
I actually really like the look of the darker cabinets, darker counter and lighter floors.
