Thanks!  I really want to paint/glaze them darker, but I don't think it's a necessary change at the moment.  

I'm still considering adding brushed nickel hardware.... but I feel like if we're going to take off all the cabinets to add new hinges/brackets, we might as well paint/glaze the cabinets while we're at it!!   Ugh- this "easy" project has become so much more complex!! LOL

I think the brushed nickel look is nice. I also like the aged bronze and think it would look nice with your current cabinets and newly colored countertops.
