We went to see it last night.  I thought it was a good movie.  I laughed, I cried, and it made me think what if  my husband re-enlisted at the time we met.  If romantic movies is what you like, it was a cute movie to see.

Did you read the book? Was it close to the book or far out in left field? I LOVED the book and am really looking forward to the movie!

I did not read the book, so I cannot tell you if it the movie was close to it or not.

Although its been a few years since I read the book, the movie followed it pretty closely from what I can remember. I liked it. Great chick flick.

I just reread the book and then saw the movie and it is a little different-the gist of it is the same but they changed a lot of minor stuff.  I didn't like the movie as much as the book but that's usually how it is.  The characters never really seemed to develop like they did in the book and in the movie

I loved the movie! The more I think about it, the more I like it. I read the book a few years ago so I don't remember it that well but it seemed to follow the story pretty well.
